Tony's Chocolonely
In 2001 Teun discovered that many of the largest chocolate manufacturers were failing to uphold agreements to produce ‘slave free’ chocolate and decided to take action into his own hands. Millions of cacao farmers are still to this day bieng forced to live on an unsustainable wage and tens of thousands of people are becoing victims of modern slavery. Tony’s Chocolonely’s aim is to change this by setting an example to the rest of the industry, by making incredibly tasty chocolate all whilst staying 100% slave free.
